does anyone know exactly what the ecu uses t figure out knock, i figured it was just a mixture of knock raw voltage compared to the estimated threshold. does the ecu use any other parameters?

i have noticed on several different logs that the car will show a knock count, but when i compare knock voltage to knock threshold, the knock voltage never surpassed the threshold, so i was wondering if there are other factors in determining knock or could it possibly be false knock.

There are no metrics on the tip in retard. -100% is the minimum amount of tip in retard, +100% is the maximum amount of tip in retard. The exact value for your application is found by testing different values, datalogging and seeing what works the best.

got it to work, i reinstalled 1.2.0.9 and then reopened it and saved it under the beta version and its holding the settings now

yah i noticed that also, about the saving in the newer version, tried that alos, still no dice. the tps engagement maximum keeps resetting itself to 0. i also tried reinstalling 1.2.0.7 and doing the same and still no dice. i think 1.2.0.9 messed something up in the kal.

well i had made the kal in 1.2.0.7 i downloaded the 1.2.0.9 beta onto the computer but i i only open the kal on it, i never saved it. would that be enough to screw me up? if so, how can i go about fixing it. should i just open a new map alltegether and just copy and paste the figures into a 1.2.0.7 ...

nitrous was working fine and had gone through about 6 bottles. then i went back in to the kal and adjusted the fuel trim for some new rc 750's i got, after tunnig the 750 i was ready to check the nitrous tune but it wouldnt spray. it would acknowldge the arming input but it wouldnt give me a output ...

im currently using the ips base map but have maxed out the stock injectors and purchased a set of 750's, yes they are overkill right now but i have some other plans later on.
