like the topic says, i'm just curious if the ecu does a checksum check on the rom contents when it boots up (or comes online or whatever it does when you start the car).

just wondering if it's possible for rom contents to become corrupt at some point in time.

i understand that export files would be huge but i'm willing to live with that
