Re: cold idle speed control
My basic question is: is the IACV purely ECU controlled or is there a passive thermo passage in it?

Re: cold idle speed control
Is the cold idle speed actually controlled by the ECU via the IACV during warmup?

cold idle speed control
On my K20A2, with the Intake Air Bypass Control Thermal Valve removed, My cold engine idle speed is roughly 1500-1800 rpm until the coolant temp rises and my kPro4 controls idle speed to the 750 rpm set-point. Is there any way to modify the cold-idle set-point, or coolant temp at which the idle ...

Re: P0341 with cam107 degrees
I am using an ECU setup for a 02-04 RSXS.
Doesn't 107 have some special significance, like full retard or no sensor signal?

Re: P0341 with cam107 degrees
Are you suggesting that the engine is idling and driving well with the actual cam timing off by 107 degrees? Also the Cam graph in Kmanager is a perfectly steady straight line at 107. I was hoping you could tell me that 107 is a typical reading when the cam sensor is bad or the cm-phaser is stuck ...

Re: EFI relay circuit
Thanks; I retested and see that E9 only goes down to 3 volts at key-off and if I disconnect the the O2 sensor connector, it goes to zero and the relay shuts off.

EFI relay circuit
I am trying to understand why my EFI main relay won't turn off. This is a KSwap into a MR2 spyder with a KPro4, and I have the ECU and relay wired up properly to the KPro E7 pin, so memory power is supplied through the relay coil. I believe the ECU is supposed to internally switch to grounding the ...

P0341 with cam107 degrees
I have a new KSwap (MR2 Spyder) with a 2003 RSX engine and am trying to get rid of P0341 (valve timing phase gap) error code. I am getting this with Cam sensor reading 107 degrees and the cam target value or 0 degrees. I there some special meaning to 107 degrees? I see that the KManager software ...
