Posting up for a friend. He wants to know if you could swap a FD2 ecu into a FA5 or FG2 with no issues? I believed so, as those dont even require immobilizers and is worth doing if he doesnt go FP. Thoughts? Thank you!

I am using the stock tuned base map on my 07 FA5. Only changes are vtec engagement point tweaks, enable afm tuning, throttle 1:1 corrections and thats basically it. I have not tuned timing nor fuel. Although I see the "Civic-Si-Race-2-Tuned" is map based.......I could run that as well on a stock Si with perhaps even better results? Any preference as to which to use from the Admins? Thanks again! Chris

Apologize for asking this, but with a stock "tuned" map for a stock Si. Is this tune MAP based or MAF based. I tried to search but the noob is strong, and may have overlooked it. Thanks for your time and consideration peoples. Chris
