So there would be no difference between it reading the atmosphere and not being wired in correctly ?Spunkster wrote: Mon Jan 08, 2024 10:02 am It needs to be running to be able to read what is happening.

Re: How to know o2 sensor is wired in correctly?
Okay Sparkks got back to me and I think I can distinguish the primary and secondary wires now, and also wire up the sensor correctly (let me know if this looks off)
So now I just need to know what to look for in kmanager so I know it is recognising the sensor, and if the engine needs to be running ...

How to know o2 sensor is wired in correctly?
Hello all I’m currently trying to add a primary o2 sensor to my setup. ‘97 ITR kswap
My problem is my swap loom (Sparkks racing) has 2 heatsheilded wires but no labels so I have no idea which is primary or secondary. They also have no plugs, so I don’t know which wires are for which function ...

Re: PNF ecu with K20a2
So today we finished my friends k swap in his em1. Used my ecu and it worked? However it didn't work in my friends preface ek the other day which is strange. Only difference between the 2 is obd2a or b.
As soon as we switched ignition on in my friends car the laptop picked up the ecu as normal ...

Re: PNF ecu with K20a2
On the screenshots a calibration is not open.
If it does not show 'ignition on' then 90% of the time, especially with an engine swap, the ECU has been damaged from incorrect wiring of the main relay or fuel pump relay. The other 10% of the time it is an USB driver issue.
If possible try the ECU ...

Re: PNF ecu with K20a2
Im opening just a default calibration from the new calibration tab. As you can see from the pics with the ecu plugged in it will not recognise the ignition is on, the misc section with the immobiliser enabled is not editable and the lightning bolt icon isnt clickable. Saw something about clearing ...

Re: PNF ecu with K20a2
I would recommend that you try the ECU in a known working vehicle as there could be a wiring problem in your vehicle. It is also possible that if there is a wiring problem it has damaged the ECU, or you purchased a damaged ECU, as this is 10 years old.

Re: PNF ecu with K20a2
KManager always has an option to open a calibration - we even made a large button on the toolbar so people could find it easily. I don't think you have a calibration open, therefore you can't upload.
I'm sure when we looked we could open calibrations in the kmanager program but not actually ...

Re: PNF ecu with K20a2
It sounds like you did not open or upload a calibration to the ECU.
The PNF is a US EP3 ECU, which will run the K20A2 engine. The question is what o2 sensor and o2 sensor wiring did you use? If you used the UK narrowband o2 sensor & wiring then you must use the PRA ECU. If not, you could use the ...

PNF ecu with K20a2
Hi everyone
I'm from the UK currently finishing off a kswap (k20a2) in my dc2 integra.
Got everything finished all the wiring sorted etc tried firing her up but wasn't getting any fuel or spark. We tried a few things and ended up being led to believe the ecu could still be imobilised.
