Re: Injectors cut on shift - High revs

This is the sudden jerk, which I am telling you about. He does it too if I shift, without releasing the pedal.

Re: Injectors cut on shift - High revs

I understand what you're saying, but I had that problem before, with the oem throttle body.
Now the plate behaves according to the pedal request.

The "problem" now is that it seems that once it accelerates again, after shifting it cuts off for a brief moment.
What I can see in the log is that the ...

Re: Injectors cut on shift - High revs

Yes, I already read that thread thoroughly, and it refers mainly to the P2101 error, related to the throttle body malfunctioning.
I used to have that error with my previous stock throttle body; that's why I changed it and installed a brand new k-tuned 72mm dbw. Now with this new one, I'm not having ...

Spunkster wrote: Tue May 09, 2023 4:58 pm You just indicated that you are using a new throttle body...is that correct?
That's right, I currently installed a new k-tuned 72mm dbw throttle body, with match porting on the manifold.

Spunkster wrote: Tue May 09, 2023 4:36 pm It may be that you aren't not using an OEM throttle body for this engine. Please see: viewtopic.php?t=18527
Am I talking to a bot? I don't understand.

Does anyone read what I write, my English is so bad?

Re: Injectors cut on shift - High revs

Try going back to a previous calibration you were using. Then you can compare settings and make gradual changes to see what causes it.

The only change from the previous calibration was the rev limit, from 7900 to 8300.
Since the previous throttle failed (P2101). Now that doesn't happen anymore ...

Re: Injectors cut on shift - High revs

Spunkster wrote: Mon May 08, 2023 10:00 am As the throttle plate is closing this looks normal.
Since the problem started (I think) when I installed tb k-tune and also moved the rev limit a bit.

Could it be that changing to a throttle with more flow is affecting some of these parameters?

Re: Injectors cut on shift - High revs

Thanks for the answer, it's strange.
I don't remember that it happened to me before, it slows down for a moment and then it accelerates again. It happens only when I make the change near the limit.

In the image you can see that the plate is at 100% however inj at 0.0

Injectors cut on shift - High revs

Hello how are you?
I ran out of ideas so I come to your knowledge.
The problem I'm having is that, when making a shift, it seems that the injectors cut off, for a brief moment. I'm not sure how the tables inside "Throttle Parameters" work so I didn't touch much.

Another question, should I modify ...
