i too am experiencing issues with idle since upgrading

it'll idle fine then start surging, or dip down to like 400rpms and sit there for a second and come back up.....quite annoying

and yeah it erased idle procedures. but i've never had issues when uploading or upgrading with same procedures in ...

since now european ctrs can datalog with a so2 wideband sensor and see the voltage of the sensor in k-manager, why you don?t make it possible to see the values in a display as the us guys have, with a converter of so2 voltage to a/f ratio .
this will help so much in europe, do it pleaseeeeeeeee ...

if you upgrade to a new version. you need to first, open your tune. then save it (to update it to new version.) then double check the tune to make sure no parameters change (as they do quite often)

PIDgain in kmanager?

i opened a .kal here at work (opened with notepad) and noticed these parameters

BoostControlUsePID=0
BoostControlPIDGain=18432
BoostControlRpm=1000

hmm so does that mean there is a way to set gain on the hondata boost control?

what would happened if i enabled PID and changed the PIDGain setting?

i have a similar questions, since my car goes through o2 sensors like some people do underwear. i'm getting the aem uego with bosch wideband
is there anyway for kpro to monitor the 0-5v and datalog it (i know it cant monitor AF from it)? can i wire the sensor in place of the secondary sensor sinces ...

ok, so i'm on my 3rd o2 sensor in 3months, and well this ones starting to do just as the others before they failed completely (it fails under boosting only right now)

so WHAT THE HELL is wrong with my car? i'm going through o2 sensors as fast/faster than oil (changes)

WHAT CAN CAUSE THIS!!

use brake booster line? as i the help file says not to use gray hose by cylinder 4 (upside down u)

mines hooked up exactly like palmerblock (followed is install from clubrsx turbo forum)


also its not falling off so bad now, raised activation pressure from 5psi to 5.5psi and it only falls to 8 ...

cant get boost control to work

ok, been having these problems for a while

at about 6000rpms, the car hits 11psi, by 7800rpms its back to 7.3psi (what it runs off wastegate spring)

i've also changed activation pressure to 3psi, same issues

my setup

cn stage1 with 60-1 hifi (5psi spring)
msd 3bar map sensor
kpro with boost ...

my b21 is still hooked up fine. i just tapped into the wire for boost control. didnt cut it

just make sure you have a good connection that is well insulated and isnt grounding out anywhere. make sure all wires are well protected (you may have to pull them out to check as they could of been ...

set your solenoid activation pressure to 3psi and set duty cycle (fixed) to 20%
see what it does. if its below 9.8psi, raise duty cycle, if its over, lower duty cycle

btw i hope you have a 2bar or 3bar map sensor as stock one only reads to 9.8psi, which is where boost cut should be if you have ...
