The documentation / process is slightly different for a k24 vs a k20. This is a k20 isn't it? Are you sure you're not referring to k24 thread or document when installing the chain?

My motor is a k20....and I used rsxmachine's writeup on k-series.com

Might be time to post a picture of the '8.5 ...

Alright, the reason I ask is that my hash marks werent even close to lining up with the dots 9 teeth apart. When I thought that maybe thats just how it is, I put it together and started the car, and it threw a P0341, like expected. However, with the dots 8.5 links apart, there is no code and the car ...

cam timing question

Will the ECU always detect a misalignment in cam timing and throw a P0341? ...is there any situation where it would not (such as either the exhaust or intake just being off by one cam gear tooth)?

Thanks,

I was helping him out with this, the reason I was hesitant to start it was because the MAP was reading 0.0 kPa, TPS was reading 26%, and IAT was reading like 125 deg (when the car had not been started for 3 months and was sitting in 50 deg weather). With reading like that, i was certain the car ...

UPDATE!!!!!

Well I finally figured it out!!!!

Same thing happened to evaunit's car when tuning on that dyno. We changed the dyno's grounding point on the car and most of it went away, however, the RSX has a shitty ground system. After a few runs we were able to figure it out...

First of all, the problems ...

Just to confirm what I thought, I took at datalog on the highway slowly increasing TPS from 0% until I hit WOT, then graphed the results. They did what I thought they'd do.

The values are 'ms' which are milliseconds I believe. If this is true, to figure out the mass of fuel injected for each pulse, you'd have to know some information and make some assumptions. You would need Mdot or mass flow rate, density, area of injector opening, and exit velocity of the fuel, which ...

If my stock O2 primary sensor is still working properly; the O2 sensor reading from K-Pro datalog should be exactly the same as the external wideband reading?

As long as you dont have a cat and the 02 is far enough up in the tailpipe it should be close. If you can, disable OBDII and put the dyno ...

Re: V1.2.0.8

Code: 45
DTC: P0172
Description: Fuel System Too Rich

I have had my OBDII disabled for over a year now since I'm running a race header without a cat. Today I enabled the OBDII again just to see what would happen and I got this error code. My short term and long term fuel trim is in the 20% range ...

next version KManager ideas...

The SManager has the 'smooth function' for ignition and fuel maps. Is there anyway we can see this in the next version of KManager?

EDIT: I would also like to see idle control by ECT and estimated duty cycle if possible.

Thanks,

I have one I dyno tuned.

Also, I will be going back shortly to try something else.

Hondata, if you want to use the one I already tuned for the KManager library, let me know and I will post it/send it to you.
