safety maps or default modes??
S2000 Kpro 4 - (serial number not handy)
I've had this happen a couple times and i'm trying to figure out if there is a way to disable it or whether it's inherent to the ECU.
After a spin at high speed, if i keep the engine running which is optimal on track or if i stall it, i've had two of the ...

AIM MXS, Wideband O2 and Kpro4
Ok asked a few questions and answers have been perfect to now.
I'm running a kpro4 in an s2000 and an AIM MXS dash.
I've got two options for wideband, running my PLX DM-6 to the Kpro4 or using the aim to log the wideband, so a couple questions
1) what are the benefits of switching to closed loop ...

Re: Kpro4 with aim evo4 and mxs dash and sensor questions
Thank you.
I've ended up going with the full mxs and will get rid of the evo4.
I think my only debate now is to go with rs232 out or can out. The rs232 send much more data to the aim but the key is the brake indicator! If only the cab protocol sent the brake!
Thanks for a great product guys ...

Kpro4 with aim evo4 and mxs dash and sensor questions
I'm trying to find the info but maybe I've been web challenged and can't find on either aim or hondata site.
Honda S2000, with krpo4.
Can I use the can out to drive the dash and the rs232 to send info to the evo4 simultaneously.
I've been using an mxl dash driven directly from the evo4 but ...

With the valve cover. I understand different sensors and I know the rsx Ecu is used. But could one use the ap1 valve cover if the second cam sensor hole is blocked off? Is the late ap2 valve cover the simple solution to making sure the other sensor isn't used? I would ...

Re: PRA wideband Install?
If I'm reading correctly I would wire to the purple serial wire.
Do you have suggestions for grounding? Should everything should be grounded to the same point?

Re: PRA wideband Install?
Ok. So I'm new to the kpro and in fact to computerised cars.
I've got an s2000 which I've fit a kpro4 to which I'm running in scca e production.
I have an aim evo4 data logger hooked up to the digital inputs using the can wires. I'm looking to switch from the stock o2 sensors to a plx dm-6 wide ...
