Ok, on my car the NEP is the blue wire going into A17.

I'm trying to figure out what an NEP wire is (what does NEP stand for? or what else would it be know as in wiring diagrams), since A19 on my ECU is the A/C wire, and there are many other blue wire connected to the ECU.

SUCCESS!! thanks everyone for the help. i cut the NEP wire, then connected the distributor end of the NEP wire to the output of the J&S. works like a charm. a BIIIGG thanks to EVERYONE!!

I am having the same problem in my 2000 Si. So, what is an NEP wire? I can't find it in the Haynes schematic ...

you can try going into settings in the file menu. Select the record tab, and try changing the com #'s. Just make sure you disconnect, and reconnect each time you change the com#. Also, I think you have to disable the FIFO buffer.

ok, thanks guys for putting my worries to rest. I just thought that I read about the tach not working with the two, but maybe I am wrong. It's been a while since I read about it.

Please help me with my stage 4

I am getting a stage 4b, but I currently have a J&S Ultra Safeguard.
I have heard that having the two can cause problems, but I want to keep the J&S for safety. Does anyone know the problems associated with this setup, and what can be done to fix it? Also, if I can use the two together, I should ...
