WHY IS THE LOCATION OF TEMP SENSOR IN THE INTAKE MANIFOLD DIFFERENT THAN BEFORE THE THROTTLE BODY?

Where is the best location to mount the intake air temp sensor when boosting? In the intake manifold or the intake track before the throttle body? Also how will nitrous shots before the throttle body come into play with the air temp sensor operation and location?
