Update......
All fixed now :)
the wires from the IAT sensor are red/yellow which is joined to 'D' connector number 15 & the green/black wire (logic ground) is joined to 'D' connector number 22 :)
hope this may help somebody else ......

ok so ive looked hard at the wiring diagram and narrowed the problem down......
the green/black wire in question should be a 'logic ground' there are only 2 'logic grounds on the ECU pins,

hi all......
ok so the sideof the IAT sensor plug that should be a logic ground (green/black wire) has 14v !, thats definatly not right.......
so ive stripped back the loom a bit and found that that wire has been joined to a plain green wire that has 14v ! (i didnt do it) an ' auto electrical' guy ...

hi guys hope somebody can help.....
ive got a yr 2000 mb6 vti, (b18c4)
my s300 is showing an error code, it wont run properly & ive been unable to fix it :(
the s300 is showing the IAT as the fault, ive changed the sensor twice now, so all three sensors cant be wrong.
so ive taken the plug off the ...

hi there , thx for the reply... yes thats what conclusion ive come to, the only way they can 'protect' their map is to tick the box that requires a password to be able to up/download/view a map/calibrations perameters, (its just annoying as im paying for the map/tuning anyway,,, and then to be ...

hi there, i dont want to drop anyone in it, or go upsetting the tuners or hondata or anyone at all, i would just like to know after investing into hondata if the maps can be locked independantly from the whole ECU on the s300 gen2 so after the R/R i can still access my Ecu ???? hope you can help ...

hi there, thx for getting back so fast..... its a version 2, ive aasked my local tuner and they tell me that 'for insurance purposes' they lock them.... thats fine its their work but what i would like to know is after taking it to them to be R/R tuned... will i have access when i plug into the ECU ...

hi there, im from the UK, i have a s300 on my civic, i would like to have it professionally rolling road tuned by one of your agents here, however they inform me that the 'map' they tune/upload will be locked, im fine with that..... but after they have tuned the vehicle will i still have full access ...
