Re: KPRO v4 Live Tuning Does not work

I had a similar issue. I enabled a couple of tables to tune live. While on the dyno I would tune the fuel on a bunch on values in one map, the live updating worked fine. But then when I uploaded the tune to the ECU so I could move on to other tables it would revert directly back to the previously ...

Re: vss frequencies

are you saying the speedo in the cluster is not responding or the VSS readout in kmanager is not responding?

Re: Throttle control issues

Looking at some logs ive done after setting up the car, the TPS is not registering a signal even tho the RPMs are going up.

For example, starting at VVS=0kph in my log, i get to 1600rpm (47kpa map), 9kph but TPS still shows 0%. At another point it does the same, i get to 1600rpm before it registers ...

Throttle control issues

Hi all,
As soon as I depress the pedal, once it responds it immediately revs up to near 3k rpm. I cannot manage to get rpms to say 1500rpm and hold.

Basically, visually, I can see the throttle cable/wheel and it opens in what I think is a smooth and linear motion as I press the pedal in the cabin ...

Re: Analogue Inputs read wrong and closed loop functions incorrectly

doesnt sound like an issue with your ecu cal. it sounds like the output on the techedge is giving more than 5v. Check the output signal on the techedge with a multi meter. Is it 5V or more? Im guessing its 9v. If its over 5v check the internal jumper which is for the WB- signal. It should be bridged ...

Re: Analogue Inputs read wrong and closed loop functions incorrectly

Ok closed loop is now working correctly. Thank you for updating the software to suit.

Re: Analogue Inputs read wrong and closed loop functions incorrectly

Havent tested it yet but I will. Very surprised also, but given the somewhat "inaccurate" statement made that you can use wideband inputs for closed loop, I feel that its only fair. I think maybe soon they will update the information to state either that you must use a supported wideband, or they ...

Re: Analogue Inputs read wrong and closed loop functions incorrectly

Ok,
Thank you for the information. Thats some very important information which I think should be documented clearly in the manual.

Could you tell me the signal curve you have used? Same as my custom input? Appreciate the effort to quickly take action.

Re: Analogue Inputs read wrong and closed loop functions incorrectly

surprised that this is still unanswered. Can someone at least acknowledge if this is a genuine software/firmware issue and let me know if they are working on a fix?

Its very annoying since most of the reason I upgraded to the V4 was in order to use the closeloop from analogue input feature. As well ...

Re: Analogue Inputs read wrong and closed loop functions incorrectly

Ok reporting back. As requested I changed all units and settings to be in LAMBDA, including analogue input values. The values display correctly and datalog correctly. BUT Closed loop STILL does not work. It will operate the reverse of what it should be doing, targeting some randomly MASSIVE rich ...

Re: Analogue Inputs read wrong and closed loop functions incorrectly

Ok, please see my latest kal, its set as you requested. I will attempt to try it tonight. Please note that closed loop is disabled in this kal because I was going to start tuning the engine without it.

This is the wideband i am using: http://wbo2.com/2j/2j9.htm

Re: Analogue Inputs read wrong

Ok, well I already posted the kal in the first post but Ill post it again anyway.

Second, I believe that is incorrect, the software in no way tells you which unit is to be used, instead the software allows you to select either Lambda or AFR for your input data in the custom input section.

I am ...

Re: Analogue Inputs read wrong

I look forward to the answer to the above question because it has lead into very frustrating closed loop incorrect operation.

As you can see from the datalog, despite the lambda reading being not far from the commanded value, the ECU is then through closed loop ADDING fuel when it should be taking ...
