Hondata

I have the techedge kit. I love it. You can even get it assembled now with a case and everything. You can't beat the price and it seems to work great. It agrees with the dyno dynamics wb on the dyno that I go to.
It was easy to interface, I just took the connector off of an old O2 sensor for my car ...

velocirapter - If you need an OBD1 GSR ECU, I have 2 available. 1 is bone stock, the other has been socketed, and converted for Hondata. All you need is your Hondata box, and that's it.

The interface box serves two major functions:

1) It acts as an interface processor for external inputs/outputs.

Inputs include a clutch switch and a "change configuration" button (used for setting various RPM triggers for VTEC, launch control, and rev limiter without reprogramming your ROM ...

Thanks AndyE, but I've been there and done that. There is still no mention as to what "exactly" the Box does. It just says it's an interface. That's it.

Sorry if this is in the wrong place, but I'm new to this whole hondata thing.

My buddy has a hondata 2b unit, and he has this little box next to his computer.

What does it do? Is it for datalogging? Uploading new programs?

HELP! I want to understand how this all works!!!!
