converted P06 ecu to P28 status
Plx M300 Wideband wired into the ecu with the grey(narrowband)output on ...

so when using the narrowband signal and running closed loop do i need to have my plx conversion selected in my rom?

yeah i am tuning on my own so far i am working on the out of boost portions and i have made a pretty good imporovement im pretty happy im just nervous to start on boost

how does it give better fuel economy without an o2 sensor? im not doubting i just like to learn as i go. i broke my o2 sensor and i dont want to buy another one but if i can run closed loop without the o2 and still run well ..oh wait i think i understand whats going on...the wideband o2 is giveing ...

i am tuning my self i am asking because you have to start somewhere..i guess ill rephrase...should i go to romeditor ..create boost tables...then just make a pass like that or should i richen the boost cells after i have "created boost cells/columns"? i realize i need a wideband which is why i have ...

can you elaborate on why i should run in closed loop instead of just keeping it open all the time..im just curious...either way i will not be running an o2 sensor for it to make corrections from so why would it matter...thanks for the help thus far

plx m300 datalog question

I plan on hooking up my plx to my ecu so i can datalog...the question is i am running open loop 100% of the time so do i need to hook up the narrowband signal? also what pin does the wideband signal go to and do i need any resistors or anything for only installing that rather than the narrowband?

well i currently have a tuned map up to 8psi...i am planning to turn up the boost but i am wondering if and how much i should richen the extra few cells for my new pressure. Does hondata create rich boost cells when it creates boost tables or should you go back and increase fuel through the boost ...

i increased the crank fuel a tad and i think it is working we'll give it a few more tries see if it keeps it up

yes its obd2a i moved the slider up(right) one notch and im not for sure but i think it might have made it worse im gonna play with it when i actualy get time but i figured i would post anyways

Start up bogging

The problem is when it is hot outside my car has trouble starting up. I crank it and it fires then wants to die out. i have to give it gas to keep it from dying. my question is what is the function i use to fix this i am not 100% sure its rich on start up but im pretty sure since it smells rich but ...

well i sent it in last friday. so how do i find out if it got there and what is being done with it? i thought i got a tracking number but it turns out the guy didnt put it on there.
