Hondata app loads to menu screen but when I tap the connect icon it closes the app. Maybe the app needs updated too? What's going on with the app hondata?

You should try the ECU in a known working car, and if everything works as it should then you need to start looking at wiring problems in your own vehicle.

SN 33901 was written on the box. the SN for the S300 is 33900 on a holographic sticker on the top of the chip. I am using the most current Software downloaded from Hondata website 2.4.4.0
