Hi there
Just wondering if K pro has any way of controlling an electric water pump?
I see it can control boost via PWM (pin B21), so is there a way it can do so for an electric water pump?
I'd prefer to not have to run a separate controller for the water pump.
Thanks.

Re: Engine shuts off after a pull
How can this be tested?Hondata wrote: Fri Jul 09, 2021 3:06 pm
It could be something like cam/crank signal mismatch which occurs at high rpm.

Re: Engine shuts off after a pull
It seems like this is the exact issue i'm having.
I have the values set based on figures i saw on my data log (10kpa closed and 100kpa open throttle) and it didn't change anything.

Re: MAP Data log value with Alpha-N
And then I'm told to set the throttle open and closed values with the engine off, which don't have any changes. Only with the engine on do these 'MAP values' change with throttle.

Re: MAP Data log value with Alpha-N
You will not get an actual reading, as it is a hybrid value based on the 2 signals: http://www.hondata.com/help/kmanager/mapparameters.htm?zoom_highlightsub=alpha
I'm having the same issue.
My question (which doesn't seem to get answered) is why does this 'MAP trace' look exactly same with ...

Re: Weird MAP sensor issue
Come on now, it's just not plugged in for the photo haha.
It's 100% plugged in and getting the right voltages.
I have also tried another known working sensor, with the same results, no change with the engine off, but it changes with TPS while the engine is on.

Re: Weird MAP sensor issue
Thanks.
I tested it with the ignition on and engine off and there is no change in the map reading from 0 or 100% throttle.
There is only a change in the reading with throttle while the engine is running.
I tested the sensor and there is 5v going to the reference wire and ground is also good ...

Re: Weird MAP sensor issue
OK thanks.
Those are the KPA figures the MAP is showing while the engine is running.
But are they supposed to be set while the engine is running or not?

Re: Weird MAP sensor issue
Did you edit the open and closed values based on actual readings you see with the ignition on, but engine not running?
Everything was set by the tuner.
I know that the values set are 10kpa with no throttle and 100kpa with 100% throttle while the engine is running.
Should those figures in the ...

Re: Weird MAP sensor issue
I have attached a log from today. Car was just idling with some revving, tried to give the throttle a good stab to get the TPS to go as high as i could.
This is with the MAP sensor inside a vacuum manifold with a line to each runner, but these values are the same no matter if the sensor is plugged ...

Re: Weird MAP sensor issue
I have spoken to 2 different people that have said that when using Alpha-N, the map readings will match the scale of the tps.
Is this correct?

Weird MAP sensor issue
Hi all
I have a weird issue with my MAP sensor on my Kpro v4.
Engine setup is a built k24 with Jenvey ITB (running Alpha N) in a DC2 with a modified DC5 type R loom and Rywire 'race' fuse box setup.
Now with the sensor plugged in im getting 10kpa with 0% throttle and 100kpa with 100% throttle ...
