I had tuned on different dynos with their o2 sensors and had used other o2 sensors for comparison. The readings on these o2 sensors were consistently the about the same but about 1.5 points off from kpro datalog. The datalog recorded 11.5-11.8 AF but the other o2 sensors displayed 12.8-13.0 AF

Crower stage 2 3/4 cams
Hi,
Got the crower in JDM DC5R and tuned with Kpro. I don't seem to be able to lower the vtec cutover below 5500 rpm. I got the same problem using the supplied calibration. Any lower, the engine just won't cross over to high cam smoothly, it seems to get choke at the lower cross over point.

Why the pre-set RPM stepping on provided maps
To Hondata,
Are there reasons for the different incremental steeping in the RPM at different range eg. by 250rpm, 500rpm or even 400rpm.
Why not even up the stepping say, by 250rpm throughout the rpm range?

Pinging at light loads (cruising)
Hi,
Datalog shows pinging at light loads (below 45kpa) mainly below 3.5k rpm. It is not audible and usually happens when holding throttle position. No pinging if car is accelerating. Should I detune ignition or ignore it?
Thanks.

Crower Stg 2 at Vtec 4900-5500 cross over problem
Hi all,
Just got the Crower stg 2 cams installed and fired up with Hondata supplied map. My is a JDM with DCRH and V2. I lowered the ignition timing slightly due to high comp. Fuel map, vtec point 4900 - 5500 as per supplied.
When I hit vtec, the car jerked like got choked for 1-2 seconds and then ...

Yup, it was placed at the tailpipe. That explains the difference. The peak power achieved was the same after enriching the mixture using the dyno sensor to about AF 13.0. Now, my datalogging reading about 12.2-12.5.
Would you recommend using the dyno sensor setup as a basis for tuning AF? Somehow I ...

JDM wideband O2 Sensor
Hi,
Is the stock JDM wideband sensor accurate for tuning? I have been tuning from my datalogging to AF of 13.2-13.5.
When I did my dyno, the dyno sensor read AF of 13.9-14.5. If it's supposed to be fairly reflective, is it time to change my O2 (about 2.5yrs old)?
Thanks.

Changing the table index (load and rpm)
Hi all,
I noticed (some calibrations) has 500 or more rpm interval from 3000 to 5000 rpm. Would it be better if reduce to 250 rpm interval to be consistent across?
Similarly, for load, can I use the boost table (additional columns) and reduce the load for NA application? I can create more tuning ...

More flexibility on the display
To Hondata,
Wish the display feature has more readings like speed or oil pressure etc and can be customized. For example, centralized bigger display for speed and RPM, and the other readings on the side.
If available, I can tap a small video screen to replace the current cluster good for ...
