Hi I've been using my kswaped em2 for a few weeks now just want some advice on what base map to use or if anyone has a suitable map I could use that would be great.

I've noticed that when I start the car and the engine light is on if I then turn the car off and start it again the engine light isn't on and Vtec will work, anyone else had this before?

yes thats the error code. low voltage when cranking. I have one of the oddsey batterys and its relocated to the boot. Will try another good battery and see how I get on.

This morning on my way to work there was not engine light and the car would rev up then coming home it wouldn't.

Just started using my kswapped em2 and it wont rev over 4000rpm. oil level is spot on as is the pressure. the only error code I have is daughter board communication error. any ideas or will this error code be my problem?

Managed to fix the problem, there was wires missing in the c101 and A plug so the ecu wasn't getting the signal. Strange but its all working now no more P1166!

the wiring has been amended and the lambda is getting power, but I'm still getting this fault code.
The ecu im using now is a PRB with kpro I have the original ecu which is PRA i think*
would it be worth getting someone to swap the kpro over into the other ecu?

okay thanks, found a few people online have had to move the wires about for the lambda as they wasn't where they needed to be so I'll take a look at that tomorrow.

I've got a 2001 kswaped em2 with a PRB ecu

I bought the k tuned conversion harness, wired it up as the guide said and had the code come up since then I've changed the lambda sensor for a new denso one and double checked the wiring.

its working now, changed the loom and got a conversion harness now its charging thank god

tried a few different things. starter motor wasnt bad so left it. changed the alter even though it was new just in case. I've now bought another ep3 loom and the k tuned conversion harness, but my battery light is still on and not charging is there something I need to do on the kpro? this is the ...

well I think the problem has been found, first we thought starter motor as it wasnt working when removed and tested. after that we tried a different live cable and it was all fine. so what ever cable I've got witch it 8 gauge must not be enough.

I've spoken to a few mates who both said its got to be battery/ wiring related.

will set about checking earth's and change the battery. hopfully an easy fix
