its basically an OBD2 ECU with OBD1 style connectors. Hence no location for the S300

Hi, I have a customer who had purchased a used Hondata (R8 board) and ecu from somone. The datalogging was very occaisionally intermittant and it got to the point where it wouldnt datalog and now gives a RED led.

So i have:

*tested known good S300-R8 in the ECU. all working no-problems on bench ...

I did look at the link posted above but since ou were telling me one ma not be connected on the ecus with built-in adaptor, I wanted to know from the source if the other was.

I will get one from stock and check it over.

D12 definitely built in?

these two inputs are critical for me, I AlWAYS use them for various customers with OBD1 / adaptor harness.

I use hondata ecus with OBD2a and OBD2b built in connectors.

I wish to use the OBD1 pin references D12 & B6 on these ECUs, but I need to know which pins to feed them into?

Your ignition will be stable on high boost or very high rpm compared to stock

I use that same setup, MSD6a, blaster coil, msd cap, msd rotor.

Ive had this on the car with a built turbo engine for the last 21,000miles no problem, and the car gets abused daily!

Ive never seen any issues with it or ...

then get hold of a set of injector nodes and check functionality.

Then after that check all positive feeds for injectors and continuity between the injector connectors and the relevant Pins on the ecu.

Then go on to check continuity between earth and the earth on each inj. clip.

I already use S300 on my own vehicle and on many customers S300 & Kpro. Ive had a bunch of people with S100 & S200's asking me to re-tune their cars since experiencing / talking to customers. Theres only a couple companies who do S100/S200 here and there seems to be alot lacking. Hence My questions.

I would consider having all 4x injectors tested, cleaned the tested since.
