too lean at WOT?

The dip was there before the new header, so that's definitely going to be addressed. It was sitting right at about 13.0 at wot with previous header. I'll add more fuel up top till I get close to that a/f ratio again. and hit the dyno and adjust timing to get the dip out.

Thanks for the reply ...

bummer... quick question though

Wow, that's not what I wanted to hear. The car seemed to run "fine" with the previous header installed on it.

What specificly do you see that alarms you so I can inform the next tuner of why I'm taking it to them.....

Re: setting ignition timing

You're timing could be off a tooth on the timing belt. check your crank and cam timing.

I checked multiple times and it shows to be dead on.

As a side note, when I set timing the helms way using the service jumper, it times just about exactly as it did before near the middle of the adjustment ...

Just wanted to add

I have p28 and PLX m300 wideband. I'm using d10 as wideband input and was having inconsistant readings untill i cut r136 and r138. Once I cut them it worked fine with no voltage offset needed.

When I cut them, I just cut one end of the resistor and pointed it up away from the board. That way I can ...

setting ignition timing

Yes, I do have adjustable cam gears, but they are set to zero.

No, neither the head or deck has ever been milled. Head gasket is stock honda 3 layer.

Car also has IACV bypassed from intake mani, but it's still plugged into ecu to avoid code. So the car idles at 1,500. If I understand the "set ...

when I set ign timing, to get to 16* dizy is all the way adv

Motor is na B16a and when using S300's set ignition timing tool, I have to max out the adjustment all the way advanced on the distributor to get it to reach 16*

I searched but couldn't find anything very informative....

Here are the steps I did.

1.) let car warm up 180 water 180 oil

2.) I did ...

It's the middle mark of the 3, not the tdc mark

According to a gentlemen on another site, the mark I should have been seeking is the middle mark (16* mark) of the three notch cluster.

Can anyone second this notion?

Thanks in advance

which timing mark(s) on crank are used when setting timing?

This is what I did

1.) Let the car warm up... 180 water/ 180 oil

2.) I did NOT jump the jumper under the hood (EF chassis) I used to when setting the timing with stock computer

3.) In Smanager software I clicked "online" then "set timing"

4.) The window popped up stating that timing was fixed at ...

How do I replay Datalogs?

How do i replay datalog with s300? With my s200 the hondalogger was really straight forward. It had a play, pause and fast forward and rewind buttons....

I can load the datalogs, but can't replay them.

where/how do I do this?

Thanks

Can't get 100% throttle reading. 99... but not 100

I did the helms method of setting idle first of all.

Pulled off the iacv and set idle. Reset ECU and started it up. Idle reads .47 in logger at idle reading 0%. I read a couple of spunksters replies to others in this forum and he mentioned to try to get it to read .49 at idle, but it jumps to 1 ...

3.8v for o2 in logger

Replaced O2 with new OEM unit and it ran fine. After a minute or two of idle time after I replaced it the voltage in the logger slowly dropped to the 1v neighborhood.

Yeehaw!

o2 voltage is always 3.8 in logger

Car is 89 civic with b16 using s200.

No check engine light or codes thrown, yet the voltage is always 3.8 in my logger. Car also seems like it runs rich. Plugs are pretty black.

I've been trying to fix this all day and no luck. I checked all my wiring many times.

Hers's what I have. It's a cheezy ...

Mine is also stuck at 3.8v

Have you found a resolution for this? Mine is the same in EF with B16. Funny thing is that when I put the s200 in my 95eg with gsr motor, the o2 reads different in logger. It fluctuates between 0v and 1v depending on load.

Does a low voltage mean lean or rich? I would think lean since my s200 is ...
