I think I got it to work. I was avoiding using the BETA prior to last night because I didn't want to deal with glitches, turns out it works for me. So thank you for the help and problem solved.

I think you are confusing me with the guy that originally posted this. I'm not using chinese at all. Smanager loads from the install wizard the very first time after I install it BUT after that it gives me the NAN is not a valid floating point value and won't start.

on windows 8 it's in a similar location I found it but I don't know what I'm looking at. My location is set to the US. Language English.

ok I completely uninstalled AVG then Smanager then I deleted the install file I downloaded while I had AVG running and downloaded a new Smanager installed it and still it starts fine from the install wizard the first time but then I get the same error. what am I missing?

I'm using AVG free. I made an exception for it, that didn't work and I also turned AVG off it still didn't work.

error opening smanager
I'm having the same issue. I'm running Windows 8. I've tried uninstalling and re installing. I've even downloaded the Smanager again and still gives me the same error. The weird thing is that when I install at the end of the install wizard it asks if I want to open Smanager if I say yes it will open ...
