I recently switched from a basemap tune from flashpro tuning to a custom tune and had a question about this.

I noticed that with the basemap i had NO rev hang. but with the custom i HAVE rev hang. Will changing these settings to the basemap settings mess the whole custom calibration up? Or will ...

Given the mods I am fairly sure it is mechanical noise. Either remove the modifications until you track down the source, or accept that the knock control will not work when you introduce noise to the engine.

So basically its just noise from adding aftermarket parts? Nothing I can do about it? As ...

Mechanical noise? Have you changed the exhaust system? It might be worth pulling the spark plugs to see what is going on.
