Re: long term fuel trim at -10%

When properly tuned LTFT should be as close to 0 as possible. Both issues sound like it just needs additional tuning. The fuel tables and compenstaions are more than likely what need to be adjusted.

thanks! so i have to reduce the low RPM fuel tables? since i don't want to affect the WOT tune ...

You should never need to remove 10% fuel from a single cylinder. This sounds like you have some mechanical problem with the engine. I would suggest a leakdown test to help determine where the problem is.

hi - thanks, that is kinda obvious! comp test is 250 psi on all 4 cyl, but yet to do a ...

OK, so on OBD2a ecu the ELD is on D16

but in SManager 'Closed Lopp Parameters' there are only options for OBD1 pinouts...

do i just select D10 ELD anyways?

( i assume so as i had the wideband going into D7 and had selected D14 in the drop down box and it was working before...)

You can use D10, D12, or B6, read the help files to get a better understanding.

cant use D10 as it is not wired up on my ECU.

EDIT: actually using OBD2a so it is D16 - DOH!

so B6 is full range 0-5V?

Try grounding the LC1 to the thermostat housing, that's where the ECU is grounded ( in most ...

LC-1 with DB gauge

i have set the LC-1's A1 (yellow) to output 0-5V and that is attached to D14 on the ECU.

but it sounds like D14 is limited in range, so need to either change the output for the LC-1 or change the input to the ECU...

for logging purposes i want to use the full 0-5v range, so ...

Re: is it in closed loop?

long story short: i cant get it back to operating in closed loop properly - that is, at 14.7:1

but looking at this log - is it in closed loop?

Ur wideband target voltage is set at 2.36 volt while your voltage/lambda conversion table is set at 2.31v for AFR of 14.7.

Therefore in close loop ...

18 gauge wire is sufficient at the thermostat housing.
cool, thanks for confirming. :)
