Re: MAC 3 port Boost Solenoid Install Question
Well something broke in the engine on the dyno and my tuner thinks its a bent rod. He said Boost solenoid wasn't acting right so he checked the wires to see what caused the bent rod and noticed the 12v source going to boost solenoid was taken from pin A1 rather than A25. He thinks that caused the ...

MAC 3 port Boost Solenoid Install Question
What would happen if I accidentally tapped the 12v source needed for MAC solenoid into pin A1 on p28 OBD1 ecu vs the A25? Would this mess up the injector pulse and cause engine failure?

Re: S300 v2 - Dual Map external switch question
I got the two pin switch working but trying to figure out how to get a lighted switch working or a switch with external LED so I know when the Dual map is activated so I don't forget. I tried using a DPST switch with 4 pins but as soon as I connect the LED to ground the map switches to primary and ...

Re: S300 v2 - Dual Map external switch question
So I would just hookup one end of the switch to body ground or any ground wire and the other end goes to B5 on OBD1 ECU and I would cut the existing B5 ACS wire so the only wire connected to B5 would be coming from this switch?
Is my picture correct?
Also if I wanted to use a lighted switch so I ...

S300 v2 - Dual Map external switch question
I need help with understanding how to setup dual map switch over with an external switch. I will be running flex fuel and would like to have a button to switch maps for higher boost on e85. I will be using boost solenoid as well and it's my understanding that I would be able to switch to low boost ...

Re: Zeitronix ECA 2 wiring help for earlier s300 p28
Once I have the D10 connected and I set that in SManager how do I check and see if SManager is actually seeing the voltage?
I added a gauge "value" under Display tab and picked ELD. It was showing .49v while my external ethanol gauge was reading E-10. If I unplug the ethanol analyzer the ELD ...

Re: Zeitronix ECA 2 wiring help for earlier s300 p28
Thanks for the link. Do I splice into that D10 wire with the existing wire intact or do i cut the existing wire and only have this ethanol signal connected to it?
So this is the correct wire that I need to splice into D10? (WHITE/BLUE Ethanol Percentage analog output)

Zeitronix ECA 2 wiring help for earlier s300 p28
I am confused as to where to wire the Ethanol content analyzer input on my P28 s300 ecu? This is not the v3. It's the older s300 r12 model or at least that's what it says on the chip board.
I bought the Zeitronix ECA 2 kit with ethanol content analyzer. The Hondata instructions shows "Analog D10 ...

Help with bucking past 5psi
There is a problem with the MAP sensor. It should not read 75 kPa at idle. I would not drive the vehicle (especially in boost) until you have resolved this issue. The short term trims are going from full rich to full lean. Swap back to the stock MAP sensor and check it reads 100 kPa with key on and ...

Re: SManager not reading Fuel Maps correctly
It sounds like you have multiple problems on this car. Start by trying your ECU in a known working vehicle, If it reads the MAP sensor then you know it is your wiring in your vehicle that is the cause of that issue. The fact that your pump will nut prime unless the key is left in the on position ...

Re: SManager not reading Fuel Maps correctly
It is either the MAP sensor, the ECU or the vehicle wiring.
You've switched map sensors so it doesn't sound like the MAP sensor.
This car was originally Auto so I converted it to manual. What should I check for when checking wiring?
I don't have access to another ECU to check so I hate to buy ...

Re: SManager not reading Fuel Maps correctly
How can I correct this? Does it need to be calibrated or something? I was getting the same thing with stock MAP sensor where ECU would only read on column 13.Hondata wrote:Your MAP sensor voltage is stuck at 5V.
