I will check to see if the wideband sensor in the AEM is the same spec as the wideband fitted to the car to see, if it is, i guess i can split the feed to see and wire it seperatley.

This aside, i have as yet been unable to wire the Wideband into the US Kpro as i guess the wiring loom in the Civic ...

I thought it was possible to wire in a wideband sensor to a PRB (US) ECU On a uk CTR, are you saying this is not possible?

Because i have been told otherwise.

Aem Wideband Sensor

Hey, i have managed to get a good deal on an AEM Gauge-Type Wideband UEGO Controller but already have a Wideband sensor fitted to the car. I have not as yet had the chance to wire in the wideband so at the moment it is just plugged in the decat and OBDII is off.

It would be great if i could wire in ...

Having replugged the UK ECU back in to confirm whether or not it detects the wideband sensor, error Code 41 DTC PO135 has flashed up.

Is this expected with a wideband and PRA Ecu?

:x

Please help. UK Civic type r with PRB with wideband

I have had installed a US Kpro on my uk civic type r around 3 months ago. Around 300 miles ago i replaced the narrowband sensor with a wideband OEM, but neglected to alter the wiring as i had no diagram, everything was ok until around 2 hours ago when the strangest thing started to happen.

The car ...

Thanks,

Have booked the car into CPL on the 26th of next month ( no sooner available date). So running Greddy map at the mo, which seems to be doing ok at the mo, if u can disregard an engine check light, and hesitation from 5500 to 6500 (vtec).

I know it is possible to create boost tables with ...

Hi, Just installed a T28 turbo kit on civic type r, but using a greddy 10psi map for the moment just so the car runs.

The problem is the engine check light is always on and tickover is lumpy, am pretty sure need to convert Us map for UK, can this be done?

Thanks

Does this mean no splicing then? and the kpro uses the current wiring already in place to detect boost spike?

;)

Al

Yes sire, the only wiring I did was to install a 3bar map sensor to read over 11psi.

Now am really confused!

So you installed a 3 bar map sensor in place of the standard map ...

Boosting prob's

K-manager has no boosting control. It can limit a boost spike, but not control boost. To control the boost you will need a boost controller.

If the K pro can limit boost spike, then how is this done? have noticed that on turbo cars, say for instance, a subaru, there is a pressure switch linked to ...

I stand corrected al, connected it all up at the weekend (all day saturday :x ), and have found that pin 16 and pin 21(pins which should be used) are not enabled on the UK ctr. SO ................slightly miffed at the mo.

I would like to know, however, what Hondata are planning to do on this issue ...
