Do I need an OBD1 distributor with my OBD2->OBD1 conversi

I purchased a Hondata ECU for my 98 integra gsr. So I am using an OBD1 ecu with a conversion harness. My problem is that I unpredictably get cel 4 codes. Just a reminder, cel 4 is for the crankshaft angle position sensor in the distributor. This has occured with 2 different brand new distributors. I ...

If you have a JRSC, did you make sure to relocate the MAP sensor to the intake manifold and remove the relay from the IAT sensor? I forgot to do that when I installed my 440s and HONDATA and that's how it acted.

Do I need a MAP relocator?

My dealer never provided a MAP relocator for my JRSC/Hondata kit (98 integra gsr). Do I need one for this installation? And if I do, is this something I can buy at NAPA or will I have to order it from JR?

The injectors are saturated so they are assumed to be 2 ohm. The car idles beautifully when I reconnect the stock ECU too. I ordered the kit in mid July.

More Info. I recently connected the "blue box" and got the CEL to flash a code 4. Seems that this is related to the Crankshaft Position Sensor. Still idles like crap and often dies. It's basically undriveable.

According to my A/F ratio gauge, it seems very lean.

I forgot to mention that I just hat a new catalytic converter installed and I'm suspecting that the 02 sensor may be installed incorrectly. But that shouldn't affect cold idle right?

New Install...Please Help

I've just installed the Hondata/JRSC kit for my 98 integra. This included the new ECU, 440 CC injectors, and a replacement for the fuel pressure regulator. I started the car and the idle is quite low and bouncing. It actually goes so low sometimes it stalls. The vaccum bounces between 12 - 14 in/Hg ...

Does an OBDII -> OBDI conversion break any emissions laws

I live in illinois and drive a 98 integra gsr with a jrsc. I just ordered a hondata kit that includes a new ecu, 440cc injectors, s200 box. I've heard that all hondata reprogrammed ecus are OBDI and will replace my OBDII ecu. This concerns me because I have an emissions test coming up and I was ...
