What exactly is the car doing? Are you sure that you're fuel pump isn't dead. Do you have a way to measure your fuel pressure? And that is an emissions code. I don't think that would cause you problems other than an orange light in you cluster. Pull the plugs and check the color. If the car won't ...

Cold weather vs warm weather
I've built a new motor with some serious differences from the motor that the computer was tuned for. Everything from cam to the intake manifold to a .2 liter increase in displacement. The car ran just fine with a healthy bump in fuel pressure for the first 3000 miles. I noticed that after that the ...

Not sure what you mean by one column but instead of reading 20 inches it now reads 19 inches of vacum at idle. According to hondalogger. I'll check it out again and see what I come up with. I have some recordings from when the car was running properly so I'll compare those values to the ones I'm ...

It's funny that you mention that. It doesn't idle at the same vacum level because I increased the idle value so that changed. You think that could be causing the problem? It was fine for a few weeks after I increased the idle then it gradually started gettimg bad. I'm going to try an ignition tune ...

No cat. Turbo car. I did wonder about the temp think though. I did notice that right before this problem started my temp went up to 198 for the first time since the motor was built. My temp does fluctuate quite a bit especaially when I'm on the freeway. I thought that it was a combination of not ...

weird problem
Built a motor three months ago. Lot more displacement than the ecu was tuned for. Increased the fuel pressure to compensate until I could save the money for a new tune. Just out of the blue the car became indcreasingly rich to the point where it did not want to idle. Changed both the map sensor and ...

Turns out that the only way for me to pull that code was to get the datalogging function enabled. For some reason on my ecu I could no longer use the jumper to read that code. It's very strange becsause the reason that I was showing a code was because when my rom was burned the person that burned it ...

air fuel ratio and error codes
For some reason my air fuel ratio stays at 9.9:1 and doesn't change with the o2 sensor voltage. Also when I go to error codes it will not show the code. The check engine light is on and iI know what the code is because Hondalogger sees it but the my palm doesn't. Why is that?

ok, that is what I was thinking. Let me ask another question then. The car is boosted so what is a safe advance when the car goes into boost. Right now at part throttle or in vacum hondalgger says that the advance is 30 to 40 degrees which is really 14 to24 degrees advance. As soon as i get into ...

ignition timming
I'm a little confused. When hondalogger or romeditor refers to ignition advance is it refering to spark after tdc or is it refering to how much the ecu is advancing the spark from the base timming set at the distributor? for example: if hondalogger says that the timming advance is 40 degrees and I ...

Ign timming
Just starting using hondalogger and the manual says that you can set the base ignition timming under the vehicle tab of the settings. When I go into the vehicle tab of the settings on my version of the softwar that I downloaded from the Hondata website there is no field to adjust the base ignition ...
