I tried altering the IAC duty cycle down to several differnt points with no success.
I did however fix the problem I swapped my OBD2 IAC valve for an OBD1 IAC, it seems the port hole in an OBD1 IAC valve is a considerable amont smaller than that of an OBD2 IAC (lets in less air) Now it idles great ...

I just had my car (96 civic na b18c setup obd2-obd1 conv, jdm p30 ecu w/s100) re-tunned and now the idle seems to come down in steps, coasts at 1400rpm then I stop and it steps to 1300>1100>1000 to 900 (my target idle speed) It holds target idle fine once it gets there, but I cant figure out why its ...

your best bet would be to use a intake manifold off a d16z6 or d16y8. A side draft throttle body off a d16z or d16y8 auto, that has a FIT valve(cold idle valve) mounted to the bottom of the throttle body and a plunger/linear style IAC off a OBD1 civic. well I stuck a test light in the vtec wire and there is definatly no vtec comming on at all, not sure why. Anyone have any ideas?

Im pretty sure there's no vtec, it was good and loud durring tuning (on the dyno) and now I hear nothing? I guess I could jack up the front of the car and rev it to vtec with no load with a test light in the vtec wire to check it, but I almost certain theres not.

If its a 96 its probably obd2, in which case you'll have convert to obd1 to use hondata.

no vtec with eprom

I recently had a s100 system installed & tunned at my local hondata dealer. with the interface box and romulator pluged in the vtec ran great on but with the s100 and the the the same proram burt to eprom, the car runs the same but I have no vtec, there is no CEL showing. Any Ideas?
