I recently sent my ECU into hondata on Saturday the 20th all the way from illinois, they received it monday the 22nd in the afternoon, fixed the concern and had the ECU back in my hands on the 23rd. ECU works great now i can finally upload my tunes to my car and datalog, thank you guys so much

Hey guys just curious what most of your issues were when Hondata had you send in your ECU along with $50 just to diagnose what was wrong? anyone who has the red light stay on and cant upload or erase the ecu and has sent it in, what did they say your cause was??

so i removed the J12 resistor and tried uploading and erasing the ecu again and it still will not work, i pulled the top cover off the ecu and the red light next to the usb connection stays lit the entire time, the green liight next to it blinks when im trying to erase the ecu, when i try uploading ...

yep i just removed it gonna go home on lunch break and try to upload a calibration

i figured i probably have a socketing issue so i went through the socketing procedure on the website and found that whoever socketed the ecu had left the resistor in J12, any chance this is what was causing me to not get a green light or be able to upload to the ecu?
