I have now tried another hondata and bingo problem solved so it's defiantly a s300 problem

I have just noticed that when I erace the ecu successfully and the light turns green and load a map and runs fine then I switch the car off and reverts to the old map with the red light. So I think it's the s300 not holding the settings after switching off

I eraced ecu on the first try there was a message "ecu did not erace" only on the second try the ecu eraced. The red light on the hondata turns green but the CEL light is still on.
