Re: I need an RMA number.

Alright I will have this b!tch in the mail today or tomorrow.

I srsly hope the s300 is having problems because otherwise I wouldn't even know where to start diagnosing this issue. I don't seem to be the only person in this situation though.

Re: I need an RMA number.

The ecu is sitting next to me right now and the serial number is s300-12,146.

I need an RMA number.

Red LED on all the time, solid CEL.

Have tried connecting two different laptops, neither will communicate consistently with ECU.

Updated all drivers, attempted to erase ECU and re-upload new map.

ECU won't take maps, can't download maps, I have read 10+ similar issues as mine and they all end up ...

Re: O2 gauge reading and O2 s300 values not the same?

Turn the key to the on position withour running the engine and you can easily see if the AF matches.

Not quite that simple.

The gauge reads 19.2 approximately when the car is off. Hondata AFR reading maximum appears to be 18.89 because when I coast and the car goes full rich (22.9 on gauge) the ...

Re: Fan Override Control not responding!

came to the conclusion that my fan must be operating based on the information from the OEM fan control switch on the thermostat housing. Which was 72*C, if I recall, which is roughly 199*F.

Not that this is a tech forum, but my only remaining question is now - is 199*F a cool enough fan activation ...

Fan Override Control not responding!

Hey, when I set the fan override control to 185 degrees F, and the minimum speed to 30mph the fan is supposed to come on @ 185F whenever the car is below 30mph unless I'm mistaken.

My question is - which sensor is this temperature reading taken from?

On my b16a, there is a FAN control sensor on ...

Re: O2 gauge reading and O2 s300 values not the same?

I cleaned all grounds and added a few more to be safe. The ECU and gauge also share a common ground in addition to their individual grounds.

I have my voltage offset at -0.06v for what it's worth..

Please have a look at this video I made of the gauge/datalog side by side. It's hard to tell but if ...

Re: O2 gauge reading and O2 s300 values not the same?

Yellow gauge output wideband signal (0-5v) wire is hooked to D14 (o2 input).

The brown wire (simulated narrowband) is not hooked up.

Pin D10 you mentioned is ELD, and requires cutting resistors 136/138 which I would rather not do unless I must. Scared of damaging the ECU. I was told I should be ...

Re: O2 gauge reading and O2 s300 values not the same?

I was going to play with the voltage offset, but the two readings seem to be offset at different intervals.

At 14:1, everything is on point and the two inputs match. The higher the gauge reading climbs, the more the s300 input reading lags behind. Vice-versa for lowering the numbers.

Gauge | s300 ...

O2 gauge reading and O2 s300 values not the same?

I have an MTX-L gauge, with it's YEL (0-5v) output linked to D14 (o2 signal input.)

I set the range of the o2 from 0-1.5v (default) to 0-5v in 'Options>Sensors'

The reading on the gauge in the dashboard seems pretty close around idle (~13.5) but when I accelerate the dashboard gauge reads ~15 and ...
