Ok so I swapped ecu and vtec worked. I removed my ecu’s top cover and found RM10 might be faulty. Is RM10 a component for vtec operation? I have donor boards to replace this component. Is it worth a shot? The zoomed in picture makes it look a lot worst than in person.

Thanks for your response. I cleaned and sanded the ground at the t-stat. Car feels more responsive but unfortunately the vtec problem is still present. Is there any way I can trigger vtec output and check for problems?

Hi everyone. Im having a strange problem with my ECU going into protection mode when ever VTEC switches on. Im trying to dial in the VTEC table but can never get it switched without the ecu cutting or entering lean protection. I have attached my calibration and datalog of the event. Thank you.

I could be wrong, but you might be maxing out the stock injectors duty cycle; and like spunkster said, check you total timing. 16* Is a good base idle timing (make sure u manually set it in s300 then with your timing light set the ignition timing). Yes, I moved my fog light +12v from the switch "RUN" to the constant +12 (to the relay and then the fog light switch to the "Hot when Park Light or Headlight" )in the fuse box, so I will wire for the PLX to the +12v at the "RUN" circuit where the fogs +12v was.

Hey Spunkster, I want to use A25 IGP2 Power Source (Main Relay?) as my +12v for the PLX SM-AFR. Is it safe regarding voltage spikes or any other factors that may harm the ECU?
