Don't scrimp on the tuning part. I saw a cracked cylinder wall just because it wasn't tuned right. and don't forget not all engines are the same. You may have the same set up but it doesn't mean that both engine will behave exactly the same.[/quote]

I'm not sure if I understand the question. But you cant use a P28 Hondata rom in a P72 ECU. You need a P72 ROM with a basemap from any ECU. Then tuning it on the dyno is very important.

Will a 3b tuned using a p28 ecu work on a p72 ecu?? Reason i ask is that i'm thinking of buying a tuned 3b which was using a p28 chip on a b18c, but i have a p72 on mine

Someone is selling me a preprogramed 3b off his b18c which comes w/ rc440's and a p28 ecu. I has been tuned in his car to 247 hp on a jrsc. I have a b18c w/ jrsc and a p72 obd1 ecu. will his 3b work w/ my p72????
