Re: S300 Downloads
Gotcha, good to know. Any explanation as to why it used to work? I always use the calibration file to upload but I originally got that by downloading it a few years ago.

Re: S300 Downloads
Serial is 10240
Version is 2.5.2
I believe that the calibration is working but I'm a bit confused about the behavior of the download.

Re: S300 Downloads
What is the serial number on the s300 board inside the ECU?
I'm not sure I can get to this, I would prefer to not have to remove the ecu. Could you explain why you need this info?
What version software are you using? Can you email us the calibration?

S300 Downloads
So i got my car tuned a few years ago. When returning home I immediately downloaded my tune and saved the calibration file. Everything seemed to look exactly how it should. Over the last few years I have made very small changes (tps adjustment, changed high boost in 2nd hear, etc). To do that I have ...

How to test PWM and Solenoid
I had my car tuned on the wastegate with Hondata last year. I have recently installed the PWM components into the ECU and hooked up the MAC solenoid. No issues so far. I want to make sure that the boost control system is working. However, ideally I don't want to start turning up the boost and just ...

Re: Boost cut issue after tuning
Turns out the issue was the fuel filter getting clogged. Thanks for all the help.

Re: Boost cut issue after tuning
The car was already tuned on the Dyno with a wideband. I mentioned this. I'm going to check the O2, MAP and Plug Gap and go from there. Seems like the ignition might be cutting out since it's not actually boost cut from the ECU. However that is how it feels. The engine is still cutting out as soon ...

Re: Boost cut issue after tuning
I can do another datalog with no error codes if that helps.
So basically what you are saying is that a Hondata ECU cut of any type (Boost Cut or Lean Cut) will show the Injector duration to be zero on a datalog? In short, Hondata cuts are done by pulling fuel.
You are also saying that no boost ...

Re: Boost cut issue after tuning
Just thought of this but check your plugs to make sure they are not fouled or that the gap has gotten to big. could be blowing out the spark in boost.
I mentioned that I changed the plugs, cap and rotor just to be sure and it did not solve the problem. :(
Parameters, Boost cut, 'Boost Cut if ...

Re: Boost cut issue after tuning
So you are thinking that the tables look odd and the A/F plot is not accurate? I am just trying to understand how you are relating this to the boost cut issue.
Does anyone else have any other ideas? It appears to be a Hondata related issue.
I want to reiterate that I was on Dyno twice on two ...

Re: Boost cut issue after tuning
I understand what you are saying about the MBC but it seems to be holding the boost without any problems so I don't think that is it. Wherever it is set to it holds boost correctly. We also did not have any problems with the same MBC setup on the dyno on two separate days. I also used this MBC ...

Re: Boost cut issue after tuning
Sure. B18a1 Built Motor, Turbo XS MBC set to 12psi, T25, 255 Pump, 450cc injectors. I do not have a wideband installed. However, I have a brand new o2 in my DP, the same one that was used for the tune. Should a lamba be showing on the datalog? I believe it is set to closed loop as I cannot check the ...

Re: Boost cut issue after tuning
*Also, just as a note I had an issue with my speedometer cable and it has since been replaced. It did not have an effect on the problem at all before or after. However, it is replaced and working now and I having the same issue as described. The particular datalog above was taken when the cable was ...
