This issue maybe due to knock control, check to see what the Knock control value is in a datalog. I'm comparing 2 datalogs from different version releases (1.4.x and 1.5.1). Both CALs have the same knock control settings (knock sensor and stock knock control unchecked) and I am seeing different ...

Did you ever figure out what was going on? I'm seeing the exact same thing...ignition timing works fine up to around 6500rpm at WOT, and then drops to 26deg. Have looked "everywhere" for a timing compensation and either haven't found it, or don't recognize it :-)
