Re: obd1 H22a jdm base map
Sounds good man please do share once finished :) Ive got my afr gauge running now. My car was the same as yours with that map around 10 afr at low rpm, hopefully i haven't damaged anything running that rich. I set injectors to 345 cc reduced all fuel trim settings to 0 and its a lot better now ...

Re: Datalog problems
Ive tried disabling on board datalogging, and im using the shielded usb cable supplied by hondata. I dont have the luxury of a spare car to try it on unfortunately.
Datalogging ran for a few minutes before freezing again today.
I did notice that im not getting any EGT readings. Then I realized i ...

Re: Datalog problems
I am having the exact same problem with my datalogs, also the display for the sensors (rpm Tps af e.t.c) freezes after 1min. I have a stock ignition system. Only thing I did notice was q34 was burned on my P72 ecu, I believe this is for the iabs which I have always had disabled by disconnecting the ...

Re: PLX install problem
Problem solved by connecting 12v and ground direct to battery! Looks like my 12v source wasn't able to supply enough current and/or my ground wasn't good enough.

PLX install problem
I just installed my brand new sm-afr and dm-5 gauge with wideband 02 sensor, connected to a hondata s300 p72 ECU.
D14 connected to narrowband simulated from sm-afr
D10 connected to wideband signal from sm-afr
Ive tried grounding at the ECU and on the chassis , makes no difference. Have the power ...

Re: obd1 H22a jdm base map
I have been using this one i found on here works good on my jdm h22a with IHE mods. Cant say how good it is exactly until i get my af gauge to work
thanks but how come your injector size is stock 270cc and current size is 240cc? my stock jdm has 345cc injectors? i have a 92-96 jdm h22a. im ...

Re: PLX outputting narrowband and tuning open loop
Ok that makes things a lot clearer, thanks!Spunkster wrote:Yes it is fine to tune that way. Open loop does not correct for any o2 readings.
You do not have to add any resistors if you disable the heater.

PLX outputting narrowband and tuning open loop
So i have the plx sm-afr and it is going to be outputting a narrowband signal and a wideband signal to datalog.
Narrowband signal going to D14 on my p72, and Wideband signal going to D10.
Am i ok to tune in open loop with the narrowband still connected to D14? Does the hondata software disable ...

Re: JDM P72
i have never removed any resistors to connect the wideband.
the thing is: the ELD connector can only read up to 3.8Volts, so your data resolution is from 0-3.8V between rich and lean.
your device gives a resolution between 0 and 5V, so 0V = AFR 10 and 5V = AFR 20
so AFR at 3.8V will be pretty ...
