I guess I couldn't figure it out because I wasn't hooked up to the ECU. I had sold it to a guy 2 hours away and forgot I had a password lock on it. But he was able to hook up with his laptop and enter info in and then password was email to me and i gave it to him.
Thanks

Re: Knock sensor?
You must use an ECU that has the circuitry for knock control (P30, P72 or P61).
So P28 does not have circuitry for a knock sensor? If not this answers my question for why i keep setting a knock sensor code for my P28.
Is it possible to solder in the circuitry for knock control much like for ...

Re: Datalog problem
I am happy to announce that I found my problem.
In my infinite wisdom I felt that with my aftermarket fuel pump it would be wise to not run it directly off the main relay. I instead put another relay between the main relay and the fuel pump. Well.... I grounded that relay on the same chassis ...

Re: Boost solenoid ecu issue!
it is also possible that driver transistor is burnt causeing a power short to the component. I suggest verifying that the driver circuit works with a headlamp being the load... not a test light. If it is on all the time regardless of your command then I would suspect that there is a faulty driver ...

Re: Datalog problem
I suspect EMF interference of some kind also. I cannot imagine why a different laptop on the same kind of power source would not suffer the same problem though. All My dist pickup wiring is in the stock OE style shielded wiring. Unless........ hmmmmmm........ I am running an aftermarket Tach on the ...
