K20C Swap

Hello, we are in the process of swapping a k20c FK8 engine (with wiring Loom and oEM ECU). Which version of flashpro I will need and what ECU I should have? Does Euro FK8 ECU work in this case?

DIFP lower than command with fueling modifications

Hello. I am tuning an FK8 with xdi evo fuel pump, DW300c rear pump and 1530cc injectors running about 2bar of boost.

Xdi 2bar boost.fpdl

I have seen that DIFP falls at high rpm/boost. If I lower the boost, problem still persists but it shows up in gradually higher rpm. I suspect the rear pump ...

Re: Euro FK8 P0369

Ok, although I really doubt they can help (car is not located at the US at the moment). If I were to dig a little more to the problem, do you have any suggestions about where to start? (after checking plug and wiring of course).

Re: Euro FK8 P0369

Re: Euro FK8 P0369

ANy chance this could be linked with a 'money shift'? WE replaced the intake camshaft with the notorious trigger shift issue and we interminttently get this CEL (mainly during cold/overnight cranking). We also replaced chain and tensioner and also exhaust cam gear. CAn this be attributed to oil ...

Euro FK8 P0369

Hello. I have an intermittent P0369 (most of the times CEL triggers on cold starts). Have replaced sensor, nothing changed. The weird thing is that I have also disabled this CEL in hondata menu but it still comes on. ANy ideas?

Re: Euro FK8

Is there a reason you haven't activated this mod?

also, if it's indeed a Euro FK8 then shouldn't it be using a Euro FK8 calibration? Or is that not a problem? I honestly don't know, just trying to see what could be the issue.

Re: Euro FK8

Hello. New upload with 4.2.3 firmware. Only changes to the car -> pracworks carbon intake manifold

Tune modifications -> increased turbine flow and wastegate flow by 20%

Results -> I still cannot increase BPCMD at high rpm. But now another issue arised-> BP is less than BPCMD.

I am not sure if I ...

Re: Euro FK8

I see what you mean but I did not turn off a single DTC. After your remark, I started a calibration from scratch (euro 2018 FK8) and used all stock settings in the first menus. Exact same DTCs were disabled automatically from the list!

However if I start a new US FK8 2018 calibration, all DTCs are ...

Re: Euro FK8

True. I tried first increasing flow 20% only to see same boost levels but large difference between WGCMD and Wastegate position. So I reduced the values again by 20% (so overall flow rate table where a tad lower than before).

I have not altered the Wastegate position tables though, I do not really ...

Re: Euro FK8

Hello Hondata, tried everything, nothing really changed. I only managed to increase BPCMD a little by decreasing intercooler and air filter pressure drop tables to almost zero. This way, BPCMD increased to 25psi at high rpm with a good jump in power. Please check last tune and dyno log.

Re: Euro FK8

Yes, looks like it. I can't increase BPCMD at high rpm above 23-24 psi even if I remove all limiters and increase torque request and air charge limit. Hondata, any ideas?
